Beef and Bean Chili - Freezer Meal

The directions for this recipe say it can be eaten out of a bowl,
or rolled in a tortilla and eaten as a burrito.

What You Need:
  • 1 lb ground beef (optional if you want to make this vegetarian, or turkey)
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can corn, including liquid
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes, including liquid
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
What You Do:
  1. On a one-gallon Ziploc freezer bag, write with a Sharpie:  Defrost, cook in crock pot on high for 4 hours.
  2. Brown ground beef and let cool.
  3. Add all ingredients, including cooled beef, to freezer bag.
  4. Let out as much air as possible, freeze flat.
